“One of the things we need to learn is that very great change starts from very small conversations, held among people who care.” - Margaret Wheatley
The Jasper Community Team is made up of individuals and agency representatives who come together to identify issues and trends in the community. Together, participants share information, problem solve and provide mutual support. Participants come up with innovative and effective solutions to complex and multi-faceted social problems that are identified. Anyone is invited to take part in the Jasper Community Team by participating in one (or all) of the below Collaborative Action Teams. Participants can come and go as availability allows and can switch between different Collaborative Action Teams OR participate in the same one over and over.
There are four Collaborative Action Teams:
1). The Early Childhood CAT - explores issues and trends affecting young families in Jasper.
2). The School-Age CAT - explores issues and trends affecting families with school-age children in Jasper.
3). The Adult CAT - explores issues and trends affecting adults of all ages in Jasper.
4). The Senior CAT - explores issues and trends affecting seniors in Jasper.
