Notice of Upcoming Closures 

𝐍𝐨𝐭𝐢𝐜𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐔𝐩𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐂𝐥𝐨𝐬𝐮𝐫𝐞𝐬 

❗ Starting Sunday, March 17 at 5:00pm the Commemoration Park parking lot will be closed to facilitate steel delivery. During the parking lot closure, the Jasper Activity Centre & Arena, and Administration will be accessible to pedestrians via the regular entrances. 

❗ On Tuesday, March 19 the Jasper Activity Centre & Arena, the Administration Office, and the Commemoration Park parking lot & walking access will be 𝐂𝐋𝐎𝐒𝐄𝐃 to facilitate the installation of steel structures within our facilities.

The process of installing steel, commonly referred to as steel flying, involves the lifting and placing of large steel beams. This operation presents significant safety hazards, which necessitates the temporary closure of the aforementioned areas to ensure the well-being of our community members and visitors.

To ensure safety, we will be implementing the following safety measures in addition to the closure of the Jasper Activity Centre & Arena, and the Administration Office:

▪ Locking the gate access to the school yard and Commemoration Park.

▪ Barricading off access to the affected parking lot areas.

 Wildflowers Childcare Centre will remain operational. We have arranged for alternative access for the day, and specific instructions have been communicated directly to the parents and guardians of children attending the Centre.

We understand that these closures and changes may cause inconvenience, and we sincerely appreciate your understanding and cooperation in prioritizing the safety of our community.
