We look forward to welcoming all residents back home. Re-entry will happen at different times depending on individual circumstances, and we are here to support you every step of the way.

Highway 93N and Highway 16 are open for travel. For updates on road status, please visit 511 Alberta

While the reopening of businesses and community spaces brings hope and progress, please note that some areas of the park, townsite, and certain community facilities remain closed for restoration and cleaning.

If your business is not on our list and you are open, please email liaisonofficer@jasper-alberta.ca.  

  • There is significant damage and possibly triggering sights. Read about the mental health supports before your return. 
  • The Re-Entry Support Centre at Commemoration Park is open for Jasper residents from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. daily.
  • Things from your balcony or backyard may be on the lawn or sidewalk. Following the evacuation order, first responders moved these things to reduce combustibles next to homes.

  • Wildlife continue to spend time in the town. Follow all wildlife safety guidelines.
