Demolition and rebuild permit application map

The purpose of this map is to allow residents to stay informed throughout Jasper's recovery and to anticipate when work around them will occur.

Demolition and Debris Removal Permit Approved: A demolition permit has been issued for this property. Demolition activities can now begin in accordance with permit conditions and legislation. All worksites are required to have permit signs posted a minimum of 48 hours prior to work commencing.

Demolition and Debris Removal Permit Closed: A Certificate of Completion has been issued for the demolition and debris removal of this property. This indicates all work has been completed and post debris removal sampling has been verified by Parks Canada.

Development Permit Issued: A Development Permit has been issued by Parks Canada. It confirms that a development proposal complies with the criteria and specifications set out in all relevant Parks Canada policies, acts and regulations.

Building Permit Issued: A Building Permit has been issued by Parks Canada. It confirms that a project complies with relevant provincial building safety codes. A building permit enables construction to begin.

Occupancy Permit Issued: An Occupancy Permit has been issued by Parks Canada. This confirms that the new building is now safe and ready for occupancy. Some non-safety items like landscaping may still need to be resolved before a completion certificate is issued.
