Vulnerable Persons Registry

The Vulnerable Persons Registry (VPR) is a list of residents of Jasper who could benefit from extra care and attention during an emergency. This service is free, voluntary and confidential.

Residents of Jasper might sign up to the VPR if they have:

  • Limited access to internet or technology
  • Mobility issues
  • Seeing or hearing issues
  • Learning disabilities
  • Mental health issues
  • A need for electricity for medical equipment

If you are in a situation that makes you vulnerable for a limited time, you can still sign up to the VPR. An example might be if you are recovering from an injury or surgery that leaves your mobility limited.

People who live with 24-hour assistance do not qualify for the VPR.

You will need to provide an address and a phone number to sign up to the VPR.

Unsure if you should register?
