The Municipality of Jasper will no longer be using Voyent Alert as part of our emergency notification system.
We recognize and appreciate that residents and business owners signed up for Voyent Alert. However, its functionality overlaps with Alberta Emergency Alert, which delivers critical, life-safety information through broadcast intrusive notifications, meaning no sign-up is required to receive critical, life-safety information.
Alberta Emergency Alert is the province’s official alerting system and remains the most effective way to reach the greatest number of people quickly during an emergency.
